Within the framework of GRAS project, Kosovar Stability Initiative, Lens, and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) organized informative sessions for civil society organizations from 22 to 30 October, 2018. These informative sessions were held in seven main centers of Kosovo: Prishtinë/Pristina, Prizren, Peja/Pec, Mitrovica, Ferizaj/Uroshevac, Gjilan/Gnjilane and Gjakova/Đakovica. The main purpose of these informative sessions was to explain the application criteria and procedures for CSOs, in particular for community-based organizations, and to give them the opportunity for asking questions about this grant scheme.
These informative sessions also served as a way of building the capacities of community-based organizations in terms of drafting project proposals. This was done through the presentation of a short manual that was prepared for this purpose. This manual will also be available online in Albanian, English, and Serbian language for all the interested organizations that weren’t able to attend these sessions.
These sessions were attended by over 90 civil society organizations of different profiles.
