The Kosovar Stability Initiative (IKS) is an independent, not-for-profit institution founded in 2004 with an initial goal of offering innovative and policy-relevant research on issues of importance for Kosovo’s future. IKS has since evolved into one of the most prominent members of Kosovo civil society, with a strong focus on the development of the CSO sector as one of its programs. IKS has also implemented a large project on addressing several factors that affect the quality of social dialogue in Kosovo, through process of facilitation and increased participation in the development policies of Kosovo.

LENS is an independent, nonpartisan and non-profit organization based in Pristina, Kosovo. It was founded on 20 May 2010 by communication and information technology experts, human rights activists and open society enthusiasts. The scope of LENS’ work includes Increasing transparency and accountability of government institutions, protecting privacy rights, promoting free and professional media, enabling communities and individuals to exercise their rights through better access to information, encouraging central and local authorities to address better the needs of community.

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) is the oldest political foundation in Germany with a rich tradition in social democracy dating back to its foundation in 1925. The work of the political foundation in Germany and in the 105 offices abroad focuses on the core ideas and values of social democracy – freedom, justice and solidarity. FES Prishtina office became functional in June 2000 and it has since made a significant contribution to the development of civil society in Kosovo, through financing many activities, especially for community-based initiatives, often by grassroots organizations, which have also benefited from grants.
